Hanging pictures?

Question:I have a spare room and I want to use one wall for family pictures in different types and sizes of frames, will this look tacty?

Answers:
I don't think it will be tacky at all. One style tip you can try is using all one-color frame, but different sizes. Using masking tape, tape off a big enough square or rectangular shape on your wall, and arrange your pictures in the square, wherever you can get them to fit. You might have to try this on the floor first, so you don't put 1,000 holes in your wall trying to get them just right. When you're done, you'll have a "collage" of family pictures, but neatly organized so it doesn't look cluttered or tacky.

Not at all, I think this is a great idea. I love how you can use a whole wall full of pictures and different sizes.
Usually, this type of set-up looks very busy - especially with so many different frames of different sizes, shapes and colors.
My friend did something different and it turned out really nice: He built a custom frame that was about 5 feet wide and six feet tall. The backing was a tan felt which complimented the color of his wall. Inside this frame, the various pictures were arranged in a nice order. Over this, a sheet of plexiglas covered the entire frame. It was light and unbreakable. The whole ensemble looked realy nice. Anyway, just a suggestion.

good luck
ive seen it done it looks awesome
No, but try to use the same color frames like black.
