Is furniture from Pottery Barn furniture worth the money?

Question:I am thinking of buying bedroom furniture from Pottery Barn. Is it made well and worth the price that is charged?

Answers:
I think when it comes to the price, you are paying for the name. However, just from personal experience, it is some of the highest quality furniture you can buy. Also, when you are considering PB, there really is no other way to get the "Pottery Barn Look." The fabrics are wonderful. You can order samples on their site.

Absolutely not. It is overly priced, and cheaply made. If you wanted cheaper furniture, go to any "big lots" type store and get the same stuff for less money. If you wanted quality, but on the cheaper side, try a second hand furniture shop. You can find some amazing stuff there, and garage saling, of course!
I saw their catalog and it is very classy with all their nice extras and we were tempted to get nursery furniture from them but babies r us has just as nice and the same look furniture. I would save my money on the furniture and then maybe upgrade with pottery barn bedding sets, lamps etc.
You would just be paying for the name. It is nice and all but you would be wasting your money!
The best furniture - real wood unfinished furniture. It's well made and more than worth the price. Then, you can copy the Pottery Barn "look" by having it custom finished or by finishing it yourself.
