I need help with a creative way to save a champagne bottle!!?
Question:My boyfiend proposed to me a couple days ago & I'd like to come up with a creative way to display the bottle of champagne we drank after. I thought mabe a small lamp or something...need ideas!!

If it is a smaller bottle why not have a shadow box built for it to display in? You can then put your picture in with it and any trinket, such as a dried flower or special memento of this special day into it as well. Then it is protected and able to be displayed for you to enjoy and remember your special moment together.
make it look like a vase and put a few flowers in it.
Get one of those cool candles that drips wax, and put it into the bottle neck, light it, and enjoy a new look for your bottle.
There's a process where they heat the glass and flatten it out to make an ornamental display you can hang from a wall or whatever.
Lamp would b a neat idea...u'll need a glass bit to drill a hole in the side to run u'r chord from the gutts. I believe they make adapters for the top for socket...
If u wanted to paint the btl u can do that as well or u can tissue decopage' over the whole btl. or jst leave as is w/ u'r names & date somwhere fancy on it. They make gold & silver markers that I think would write on the btl. IF NOT, use gold or silver FABRIC paint in the btls w/ the tips... then write what u want.
