When buying 8 ft section of fence, are posts included for each section or do you have to purchase separately?

Question:want to buy vinyl or aluminum fencing at Lowes or Home Depot. Someone said I have to buy the posts seperate, I thought they were attached to the sections.

Answers:
When you buy fancing all components are seperate, for aluminum(I am assuming chain link) you need the fabric posts, line and terminal, top rail top rail holders brace bands fence ties gates and gate hardware, also you will need a fence stretch and come along to make sure it is tight, For vinyl fence the come in 6 ft sections not 8 ft, you need the sections posts, you can go with a straight vinyl or a treated 4x4 with vinyl jacket, fence hangers screws post caps and glue.

No they are not. They are a separate purchase. Also you have to stretch the fencing tight before anchoring it or it will be too loose.
No, they aren't.You can get metal posts or make your own wooden ones.
