I am going to paint the exterior of my house.?
Question:I bought my house 1 yr. ago, as is. My house is a bright blue,
this summer I need to paint over the blue. My two neighbors on each side of me have real nice houses. Each one is painted white trim with a light brown sand color on their houses. What color should I paint my house my favorite is white trim and a light brown shade, but that would be 3 houses in a row close to the same color. My house is in the middle of the two what color would go. I like nutural shades. Thank-You for your help

how about light brown with a teal trim? or charcoal grey...check out the color theme from New England homes..that might be your thing.
You could reverse the colors. The only drawback to painting the same color as the neigbors, is some people take offences when they are copied. If you don't know your neigbors other than by sight, I would paint the color you like.
I like the blue contrast with that sandy light brown color. Have you ever thought of just a lighter more neutral blue? White might also look nice too.
Just look at different shades of those colors and you will be surprised how different the house could look.
Talk to the paint store about that blue and take a sample with you. You may need a covering coat of paint to truely hide the blue.
How about white trim with a light yellow or green. It would stand out among your neighbors but would still be in your nutral shades. You may have to prime because you are going from dark to light.
