There are so many great ideas for rooms - you should look at the following website - it is amazing - especially if you like baseball - the chairs and everything and so cool. Or, you could simply just paint your walls a really nice blue and paint frames in orange and put in sports posters. Get your Mom to help you with some orange drapes. Orange and blue are opposite colors on the "color wheel" and really compliment each other.

Sure go ahead and decorate. You should love your room. Do the colors you want and then you can add all the sports gear a little at a time. It sounds cool! Good Luck!
Use the colors you like..you can paint, use wall paper or pictures with these colors in them. Remember u will grow up fast and u don't wanna put permanent things that u can't deal with when ur 17. So use stuff when decorating that u can change as u grow up to keep ur room to your liking. Use posters, U can change them as time goes by. Paint ur wall blue..hang posters of sports with orange and blue or get a lamp shade the color u like, u can always change a lampshade. Get a mirror and paint the edges the color u like, it's easily repainted.Get u a orange bean bag or some armless type of chair that comes in the colors u like. Make ur mom happy and use coasters that u can paint. There are all kinds of things that u can use that are cheap that u can paint and repaint as ur styles change. Have Fun!!
Paint a wall as if it was a football field or baseball field; perhaps, each wall with a different 'field'. Or do the ceiling by itself. The ceiling could be blue with white clouds.
Blue sky ceiling, green field on a couple of walls with orange-ish basketball, football, etc... If going to paint a perfect circle, draw around the plastic lid from a large coffee can, bottom of food can, etc... Being creative and express Y O U is half the fun - - use your imagination.
