A Coaster. Which side do you place your glass? The ceramic tile side or the cork side?

Question:

Answers:
Depends on the drink.
Tile side for hot beverage - - coffee cups.
Cork side for cold beverage - - pop cans, glass milk (condensation)

The ceramic side
Tile side. The cork is meant to be nonscratch on furniture.
The ceramic side, I think the cork side is to keep it from moving too much. ?
The cork is placed faced down, to keep the coaster from slipping. You place your glass on the ceramic, so any condensation will stay on the tile and not absorb
Ceramic tile side. The cork side protects the table from scratches & water marks
Agreed with ceramic side. The purpose is to protect the surface of the table, right? So putting the ceramic down would potentially harm and scratch the surface, whereas cork down would protect it.
Yessssssssssss, The cork side down so as not to scratch the table!!
Always, always, always on the cork side to prevent fading out the ceramic side. ;)
place the glass on the cork side so it absorbes the liquid
You set the glass on the cork side because the ceramic tile Will not obsorb the sweat off your glass.so it might would be smart if you got small rubber foot kind of things to put in the bottom of your coaster so it won't scratch your table. That's all i can tell you hope it helps.
You place your glass on the tile side so the tile doesn't scratch your table. The cork protects it.
you should put your glass on the ceramic tile side. the cork side is a grip/no scratch for the surface it is put on. hope this helps. -cheeso
