Help me!!?
Question:i need to redo my room. i have wood walls and i dont know what to do with it because i cant paint it. i want it kinda girly but not obsessed girly. So if you could give me some pics that might help. any ideas would be great

so do u want like lacy girly or what?
U can do curtains/valance w/ lacy/ruffles like go to fabric store & get some lace to cover the bottom of the curtain as well as u can put some in the middle or top or both. If u can't sew, then get some STITCH WITCHERY (ask at the fabric store) & use an iron to put them on the curtains.
Also at the fabric store... look in the clearance bins for girly fabric & use the same stuff to make pillows/ cushions for the floors/ pin up board ( cover foam board w/ batting & u could put ruffle/lace around it ) then pin up photos/notes
U could hang beads from u'r lamp shades as well as u'r curtain top or if u don't like the lace idea... u could put foo foo around u'r shade or curtains or pillows... use that NEW funky yarn. U could probably glue it on. They make fabric glue at the fabric store OR craft store.
take diff color foam boards & put them on u'r wall like artwork or u can even paint on them & hang them. U could even tape up posters on them or pic or u or u'r friends... w/ ACID FREE TAPE in the scrapbooking section.
U could cut out circles or squares or flowers out of them & hang them on u'r wall w/ u'r friends faces inside of them. Print a pic of u'r friend on printer ...blow it up to size & tape it on the center of the flowrs or sq. or circle. then put foo foo around it ...
Just think/// beads... foo. foo... fun yarn... lace... colors. prints... use all these things to do DIFFERENT stuff on u'r walls for fun!

Since you can't paint it...can you buy a large piece of fabric and attach it to the wall? If not, then get some room dividers and decorate them with your jewelry, purses etc.
Can you hang plants from the ceiling?
Sounds like you need to brighten up the place ... wood walls are usually dark.
Think of a Jamaican Island . go for a tropical theme. have you ever seen a "Rain Forest restaurant?
Lots of plants...philodendrons are great indoor plants.
Ohh...how about a fake ficus with white Christmas tree lights in it...! (found a pic in Flickr - see below)
If you get a couple room dividers you could paint them white and that would brighten up the room.
White netting would look nice in front of the dark wood.

if its wood walls . why cant you paint over it? if your talking about panel wood yes you can i have seen it done and i have done it. so if its wood you can paint over it ..
