I am a new contractor wondering how much to charge to install custom Kitchen Cabinets & Trim in PA?
Question:Cabinets are being provided by others as well as
countertops. I would like to get this job, but am afraid to charge way too much. I've heard some say $20 per box and others say $100 per box. I would like to be competitive in pricing, but have no clue where to begin.

This is something you'll have to figure out for yourself. I also went through this type of situation. I handled it by going cheap and doing a high quality job. The next job I would charge a little more. The better job you do the more business you will get. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. But don't try to retire on one job. Also get to know your competition. You don't have to be their best buddies just try to know how they charge. Also try to know the best in the business, if you can hang with the best you can be the best.
Try to estimate how long it would take to complete the job and multiply this by your hourly rate. If you charge too much then you'll know next time. If you charge too little and get the job then time yourself while doing the job and next time you'll be better informed.
