How much to install ledgestone to a fireplace?

Question:We can get the materials at a large home improvement store, but want to know how much we can expect a mason to charge to apply it to our basic stucco fireplace. The fireplace is approximately 5ft by 8ft by 2 ft. It is in the middle of a large room and can be seen on all sides, so the ledgestone will cover all sides.

Answers:
It sounds like a 3-4 day job for 2 masons. So, conservatively, 4x2x8x25($/hr.)=$1,600. (This estimate is from an architect)

I can tell you I work in the home construction business and around here in Alabama I would expect anywhere from $1500 to $2000. But that is without seeing the project.
