Help me redo my room?

Question:i have wood walls and i dont know what to do with it because i cant paint it. i want it kinda girly but not obsessed girly. So if you could give me some pics that might help. any ideas would be great

What colors do you like? What interests do you have?
Maybe get some new sheets in a different color than you already have. Maybe a new comforter as well.
Maybe get some painting, or pictures to hang on your walls, that are "girly". In those colors at least. Maybe something floral. Maybe some silk flowers in a vase on your dresser.
You can't paint the wood walls-how about if it's okay, hanging up a sheet (even a print sheet) of your favorite color, and maybe hang a picture or a few on top of that sheet. To be your new "wall".
Maybe paint some of your furniture different colors. Like a small table for your lamp and clock. Or a nightstand/dresser.
Or, redo your headboard in something different instead.
Or, maybe new curtains. You have blinds? Well, maybe a half curtain 1/2 way down the window would be okay. Like how a kitchen curtain can be. Can you paint the closet doors?
Please, before you do anything in there, stand in the doorway to your room. Stop and think, and if you want have a piece of paper and pen to write notes to yourself. Please, as you are standing there--ask yourself, How Do I Want This Room? Then think, What things can you change, how do you want those things changed? How easy would it be to do those changes? When you are looking, feel free to move around for different angles of looking at your room.
My sister asked me that question several years ago, and for every place I have lived, and every room I have wanted to do something different in-even rearranging the furniture, I have asked myself that question. It truly does help.
Maybe look at some magazine pics too, to help with getting ideas.
