Decorating help?
Question:im redecorating my bedroom (im a 15 year old girl) and i have all these pictures that i would like to include in my room .. does anyone have any ideas on how i can put them in my room somewhere .. i was thinking about putting them in a pattern or something above my bed (i don't have a headboard) .. the pictures are pretty small (like 4x6 and smaller) .. anyone have any ideas ?? thanks in advance

It depends on a few things... are they framed? If not, you could save the expense and mount a good sized cork board and put your pictures up in any pattern you like. If you don't like the look of the cork, pick up a fabric remnant to cover it . If you want to change the pattern you can do so whenever you want. Get the tacks with large heads. When you mount your pictures, place each tack close to the pic so the head and not the pike will hold it in place. That way you won't have holes in your pictures.
If you decide to do this, make sure when you mount the board that you have at least two mounts on the wall. It will keep it level and more secure.
Using small nails whose holes can be patched with toothpaste is better than the self adhesive hangars. If they are light enough, you could even use map pins instead of small nails.
Buy inexpensive frames for 4X6 photos, spray paint them and hang them side to side (all sides touching), this looks best in larger numbers and can create the feeling of a headboard.
Use wide pieces of ribbon in a color that will match your room. Cut the ribbon in long strips and attach the pictures to the strips of ribbon, allowing space between for the ribbon to show. That way you make minimal impact on your wall and create the illusion of a color coordinated headboard.
get a cork board or use a decorative piece of material above your bed and can get peel and stick adheiseves that will stick to the materail make a colage then when you get tired of it take it down
u can hang it on the wall.. ideally pics look great when above the bed or facing the bed.. or on side opp. the window wid proper flash light.

i think you should either:
~ stick them on the inside of your wardrobe doors because photos can look quite messy
~ frame the best few and put the others in a large album displayed somewhere in your room but so that they're not on show all the time
~ make a big pattern on a plain wall like a big flower or something from them
~ get a piece of thickish string and some wooden clip pegs and hang them from one corner of your room to another
~ get the best few transferred onto a cushion or something
~ get them all put onto fabric and make a patchwork quilt out of them

something i did was i put a hole bunch of cork board on one of my walls and i hung the pictures there, or you could even by magnetic boards and arange the pictures somehow on that, it actually looks very cool
