Where can I find a leg for my sofa?
Question:I bought a used sofa and loveseat and I lost one of the legs to the sofa when we hauled it home, does anyone know where I can get a sofa leg? I can find it on the internet but I would like to go out and get one tonight at a local store..

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Home Depot used to carry them and may in some stores, but couldn't find them when I looked. I would think you might want to put a couple of phone books under the sofa till you can find a leg. Contact furniture stores. Frankly if I were in your shoes what I'd do is either have all 4 new ones tooled by a carpenter, or ask him if he could make one to match the other legs. But, a carpenter or someone who has a lot of machinery in their machine shop would be able to do it for you. go to the small furniture stores that fix sodas making them look like new. They sometimes carry extra legs.
Try a local furniture maker or lumber yard, they might give you all 4 matching legs. Make it look a little more modern, then you can paint them whatever color. Good luck!
