Need HELP! on remodeling my room!?
Question:I am 14 and my parents just constructed an additional room, therefore I got my own room. (Before I used to sleep in the same room as my younger sister) I would like to paint the room either pale pink or light purple. Since the room isn't very big, I can't have a sofa and other such extras. I need ideas to show to my parents and I'm getting short on time. I've visited websites like hgtv.com and ikea.com, but I'd appreciate a whole lot if I had more options to choose from.

Do you have a window in your room? You could have shelves built in on either side and create a window seat. This would make the room feel bigger. Be careful with pale pink or purple walls. They are great now while you are 14 but you may grow out of it fairly quickly. It may be better to go with a more neutral color and bring the pink or purple in with bedding, artwork, etc. It's easy to paint the room now but once all your stuff is in it, it won't be so easy to repaint if you decide you don't like the pink/purple anymore.
