Needing help decorating . . .?
Question:My husband and I purchased this house last fall and it is a two bedroom one bath 975sq ft. We hopefully this summer will be turning our garage into another room for the kids. If you e-mail me I can send you pictures of what I have to work with. I am looking for colors and most importanly how to arrange my furnature. We are looking to buy new stuff so any ideas you have we are open for. You really have to see what we are working with for our kitchen and great room are in the same. If your great room and kitchen are connected let the colors thru- out coordinate so the rooms flow.Using 3 colors is the best when dealing with a large space..light,medium and dark shade..then using one or more of those colors for the adjoining room...
Kid room colors..bright rainbow colors would do well if its boys and girls involved...again a 3 color combo...wood flooring with large room size rug is best when dealing with kids as well..rugs can be replaced alot easier than carpeting...
