How do I get paint off a pine floor?

Question:My mom's old house has finished pine floors. She happend to paint her floor in her bedroom, I'm not sure what kinda paint she used. How do I get the crap off without damaging the floors or having to sand and refinish them? Any easy way out of this?

Answers:
Mineral Spirits may work. You can get it at your local hardware or Lowes or Home Depot. There is a product called "Oops" that works good. I think it is made up of either mineral spirits or whitch hazel. I am not sure. If you get mineral spirits get the low odor. Test in a little area first to make sure it doesn't damage the finish in a closet or behind a piece of furniture is good. Rub gently. You may need to do this a few times. Follow the directions.

Sorry kid! You can use a stripper, but, you will have to refinish.
