I want my off-white fiberglass shower/tub painted black is this possible?

Paint, not exactly...But there are people who can spray it black. I forget what it's called. I suggest you look in the yellow pages under baths,or home improvement...Might cost a $100+ though...
I believe that the shower/tub can be painted.Since it is a fiberglass product,It has a gel coating on it.In most or all cases this coating is applied color infused,meaning that the color is built in to the finish,much like color fast car body panels on some cars.The yellow pages will have people who are qualified in tub refinishing.Make sure you specify that you have a fiberglass tub and not a cast iron unit,since these use very different techniques to apply finishes.Plus,most refinishers will give you some kind of warranty with their work.Good luck.
