There are many places on-line that sell glass rod and tubing.I work with a type called borosilicate which is sometimes called hard glass.Corning ware Pyrex is a borosilicate glass and there is also soft glass,this is similar to window type glass.Some of these companies sell both but the borosilicate will probably hold up better depending on what you are using it for. www.mountainglassarts.com www.winshipdesigns.com www.crloo.com These are the three that I use but there are many more.Mountain glass I think has the best prices.Mountain glass is on the east coast the other two are on the west coast.
