Personally I'm quite fond of sage or light greens, beiges, and a warm brown which looks great together! I prefer the nature look myself and my bedroom are in these colors.
Maybe you could make it real subtle but beautiful like maybe a pretty light sage green on the wall with beige leaves going around the room like a chair rail...you can use stencil if you like or change the colors around. Or if you are artistic you could paint a nature scene on a wall as a focal point, which would be time consuming no doubt...lol.
(I saw a wall this lady had painted like that on tv the other day but she had done the whole wall and it was beautiful)
As far as the bedding and curtains go I would just look around but I personally like things simple but this is your room, not mine...lol. I think that beige bedding (or green, opposite of whatever you put on the walls) would be a good choice with a couple of the pillows matching the walls with a couple other pillows in a different color like the brown...which I would only have small touches of around the room if it were me because in the spring you see more green on the tree than the brown.
As far as items go I say keep it simple...which looks dramatic, clean, and like a designer did it. Like maybe one large vase instead of a lot of smaller ones and a few pieces of artwork that ties the colors together. Plants would be essential in my opinion for a naturisitic room, whether real or not...I have both.
Anyway, hope this helps in some way. Good luck!
I have a bunch of samples on my site and also links to several DIY info pages.
Good luck and have fun

sorry but personally i think stencils get old id say get a really nice mural... like one of a bamboo forest or just of the woods to go on ur bed headboard wall it totally sets the ttheme and its so hot. for a bed set get something with very lil pattern id say for the comforter go for a brown and then patterns on ur sheets are fine.. curtains is this a guy or a girl? well if its a girl id go for the inner white see thru thingy i forget what its called sorry and then either a brown. green ..actually go with a beige or tan color . get some small plants just a few like cactus plants or ivy.. they are cute. you could paint ur room the lightest green that u see in the mural if you go for that idea ., and get nature looking candle holders and maybe even an antler looking chandelier or lamp. that would be hot ..

for a natural look, I would go with greens and beige's. I added a pop of color with my natural look by adding some purple pillows,( the purple is in a picture) but a pop of orange or yellow would go well also. If you aren't into the greens and beige's, try a sky blue and white, it always looks fresh and clean. For a creative touch, you can add a faux paint treatment, stencils, stamping on the walls, wall paper accents or any number of things. I would go with beige/off white curtains in a natural material, maybe with a randomly stamped leaf (in greens) that are a bit long and can float with the breeze when the windows are open...try making a muslin comforter cover with strips of muslin randomly stamped with leaves, that matches the curtains. For accents, try sponge painting cheap terra cotta pots and stamping leaf prints on them to use as storage for brushes, make up or wash cloths (etc)...have fun with your decorating!
