Question:I've been living w/older appliances(not sure what yr they were purchased)for 3yrs.Should I invest in energy-efficient appliances now or wait? Also, does anyone have experience w/the combo w/d-all in one unit?

Answers:
Are you in Canada?
look into government websites, I have read that you can get government grants up to $5000 if you make the switch to energy efficient appliances, and try to make your home "greener".

3 years is not old I would not spend money if the applicanes are working
look at the nameplate, that should tell you the year of appliance, also if your electric bills are not high i would not bother,if they are then buy high energy efficient ones.
