Creating an awesome guest room--I can enjoy!?

Question:I have an extra room and find myself wanting to make it the den, my office space AND a cozy getaway for family and friends. Problem is the room's only about 200 sq. ft. Does anyone know of any awesome space saving furniture or features that I shuld tap into (catalog sugg's would be great)? Is my dream-room possible or should I narrow it down?

Answers:
Why not check out IKEA? Their designs are mostly for space-constrained spaces since apartments in Sweden tend to be really small.

I think you can have it all.

The simplest solution would be a queen size lofted bed with the desk underneath. That would free up a lot of floor space for armchairs and a end table for reading.

Otherwise think about a highend futon and a desk/hutch with a wall unit of shelves.

Match your woods, a light carpet, with light blue walls and dark wood furniture will geometric patterns would be lovely.

I personally love the furniture at herman miller, especially the free standing desks and storage units.
(you most likely won't find a bed, but check out their seating, to get a feel for the kind of futon that would work for you.)
