I'm thinking light grey-blue walls, pewter accents, a few black touches here and there. Buy framed posters in artists such as Picasso, Miro, Matisse, etc. They are contemporary and classic without being stuffy. You can buy cheap posters at craft stores or on art.com.
thinking lightish green but ima girl
if your not into that
go for light grown
if thats too much brown
egg shell white
You really can't go wrong with neutral colors..beige, light brown, tan...good luck
Well, your carpet will match pretty much anything and I wouldn't worry about the color of the TV set. So, what I would do is pick out your furniture first and then paint the walls a coordinating color. Like maybe the same color but a few shades lighter. If you have curtains, I would try to match them into the color scheme, too. Have fun!
burgundy, or navy blue or olive green don't be afraid of color on the walls- Be sure to bring a little black to the room- it really makes it pop-
thats a qustion for the 5 homos on bravo queer eye .
tans and greens will compliment the carpets well. Unless your T.V. takes up half the wall I think you are over thinking that aspect. You can compliment the T.V. with picture frames, table bowls, candle sticks ect. Try and get the most out of your color by blending with carpets and furniture. Make the room livable first then accessories to highlight off colors and smaller furnishings.
Paint the TV wall an accent colour. Magenta or burgundy stand out well and the other three walls could be a taupe or tan. You could get dark sofas to match the dark coloured walls with muted throws and cushions. Similarly, you could get light coloured sofas and accent with striking throws and cushions.
