How to kill mold in carpet and on drywall?

Question:

Answers:
a very weak bleach water solution

By weak, I mean, like, 1 cap full to one gallon of water.

I don't think you can kill it... only replace it. It can be dangerous to have it around for long periods of time I hear it can cause respitory infections
BLEACH
Carpet: Fire - especially if it is widespread. ie: replace it. If is is just a (very) small section, talk to a someone who cleans / restores carpets professionally. (The above noted bleach solution may damage your carpet, and soaking it will just make the mould problem worse.

Drywall: if it is just a couple of spots, the bleach solution noted above - or a commercially available mould/fungicide. If it covers large sections - cut it out and replace it.

BTW: if this is in regards to flood damaged stuff, talk to a professional, and if they think it is salvagable, pony-up the cost to have it done right. If they don't toss it. Your health is more important.
