What colours make a bedroom look bigger?
Question:my bedroom is really small and one side of the ceiling is slanted its a room at the end of the house on the third floor it used to be the attic what color will make it look bigger

Light colors help, but if you really want to open it up, hang mirrors. A mirrored wall would be best.
Lighter colors always make a room look bigger. It opens the room up. Darker colors seem to make the walls close in a bit. Whatever color scheme you are going with, choose a very very pale shade of the color and use that. Also dont over crowd with furniture or what nots. That will tend to make it look cluttered. I don't recommend putting the bed under the roof slope either. I think that looks so tacky. Put a desk or chair and table there. A bed under the slope makes the room look smaller. Even mirrors make a room look larger.
light bright colours... You can get white paints with a hint of another colour mixed in,they are quite good... what you need to remember is dark colours close the walls in, therefore making the room appear smaller.
Another good idea is to put a large mirror on a wall, as the reflection gives the illusion of a larger space...

The lighter the better. Painting the room and ceiling the same color might help.
