Question:I could ask you questions.. I have a sea green and gold bedspread with pillows and drapes to match. It is beautiful, but I need to put color to the walls there next. Do you think something like a royal blue would be too much?? I like blue

Answers:
Blue? Not with that. I would stick with a more earthy tone. Sand; bronze; rust..

sea green and gold? sounds like a really bad wedding scheme. I'd start all over, do something blue.
If you are keen to use blue, I would say navy blue would be better than royal blue and perhaps just on one wall with the other walls being cream/sand.
Light blue, aqua, or pale green would complement the fabric.
O, paint the wall opposite the bed the green or gold of the print, and the rest neutral [ white, ivory, gray, beige [.
