Fairy themed room for a teenager?
Question:Yeah, I know it sounds kind of young but I'm really into the idea. Any suggestions to decorating a fairy themed room for a teenager? I suppose magic themed is more like it but enchanted forest type magic, not Harry Potter type magic. All suggestions are welcome!

I'd ask the teenager first because teenagers can be very picky. You don't need the teenager in a big huff because you put fairies in there room.
First choose your comforter then choose your paint colors around it. Put up themed border or use stencils to add to the theme.
The best theme for a teen's room is... NONE! At that age, their interests and hobbies change with the wind. Your teen may be really into something this month, but next month she sees that her best friend has another theme going in her room and wants to copy that one. Instead of going with a specific theme, it makes more sense to go with a specific color scheme (as your teen's choice of favorite colors probably won't change as often). Let her be part of the makeover (i.e. she gets to pick up a paintbrush, too). Might even be a good idea to let her have some friends over and they can all participate. Saves you from having to paint the room, and gives your teen a sense of accomplishment and choice when it comes to her personal quarters. The theme for the room becomes "My mom is the greatest!"
