Any good ideas about furniture that will fit god in sevral diffrent apartments?

Question:I'm in the military so i need living room furniture that will stand up to international moves & 2 kids while looking good and fitting in several diffrent apartment/houses.

Go for a neutral colour fabric with a good stain guard coating or something with washable slipcovers. And I would stick with plain and simple design of the furniture such as an Ikea type without the big arms and backs so they would fit in any size of place you get moved to next. Neutral colours or slip covers are a great way to have them work into whatever the colour scheme is in the new places and of course with the kids, washable is always a nice idea. Go for just the few needed pieces such as a small couch or a loveseat, and a couple of comfortable chairs with either 2 small foot stools or a larger ottoman that can be used for both chairs at the same time. A low and simple coffee table and plain small tables for end tables would be workable since then you can just add your own decorative touches that may change with each move.

Add your colour with accent pieces instead of your main furniture and it will last you for years.
