We just remodeled our kitchen and I am going for a French Country feel. Can anyone suggest a paint color?

Question:We live in a log house, therefore some of our walls are log. Our cabinets are cream with a brown glaze and we have granite countertops.

Answers:
If you want to see some French country colors look at "Pierre Deux"--(pierredeux.com)--gener... the colors are a bright sunflower yellow and a bright medium marine type blue and a little less in a rusty terra cotta color and some lavender; so any of those colors would look great, and complement the cabinets. The object is to use them together so it yells out "Provence"

Use a basic off white for the majority of color accenting with those strips of wall paper that go around backslashes or around the top of a wall in oranges ,yellows. Farm scenery, greenery brown cabinets airy and sunny, maybe french doors if they work in.
To compiment the cream & brown glaze, choose a pastale or powder blue decorations, brown glaze accessories. Like frames, vases, rugs, wall decor. Cream lace,Dollies,& eyelette material.
Blues and yellows are usually first thought French Country colors. You could also bring in some toile in fabric, or find one you like and use a color scheme from that (red, blue, gold, brown - toile comes in all these colors and more).
I suppose country blue would be out of the question then?
