Double trouble!?
Question:Ok i have a problem i have a friend in Portugal and i want to buy something for his new house but he is rather fussy.He don't want painting,decorations,and crystal swan.
any ideas?

I think you should trya gift card or if your not that kind of person try Gifts.com they help you decide on the best gift for the person's personality type. Try cookware or wine some people like to get wine glasses and other things like that.

Well if this is a new friend, don't be expensive with him, especially if he's being a jerk about the situation. You may want to get him a simple decorative peice of pottery or something, or even something that is useful.
Maybe try salad tongs even. Or something cute or clever.
If this person is someone you want a realationship with then don't be pushyyy :)
get some kitchen wash cloths, towels, if you know the colors place mats for the table or table runner
money or a gift card to a shop he likes.
The portugese have an extensive history. Why dont you do some research on that history and maybe find something that would have historical and financial value to his house. They were some of the first people to sail. They were the first people to start trading slaves across borders and therefore have pieces of thier history across the globe. They have the longest standing alliance, with england, in the world. So there is alot thereto work with.
