Best diy miter saw?

Question:

Answers:
craftsmen is always a good way to go. they're sold at sears and you can return them forever and for almost any reason. my husband only uses craftsmen and we've never been disappointed. the only thing that might be even better is ridgid (not sure how to spell that) but that's pretty heavy duty. it's probably too much for DIY projects.

Asking a professional what is the best tool is like asking a man the best auto maker...we all have our own favorite...what you need to ask yourself is what you are going to use it for and how much do you want to invest...Delta and Black-n-Decker have OK miter saws...won't last long if you use it everyday like a professional like me...I prefer DeWalt, however you will spend 300.00 to 600.00 depending on which model you want...A good middle of the road saw is at Sears...probley around 120.00 to 150.00 but will last for awhile..
if all you are really looking for is to do a few rooms with some trim why not just go spend $10.00 at lowes or walmart and get a simple manual saw and miter box combo ? I redid my kitchen and bath and both entrances and had to redo trim work. like i said i only spent 10 bucks and have helped a few friends out since then it has paid for itself 20 times over!
