How to fix up open space from missing kitchen drawer front?

Question:I'm turning the smallish bottom cabinet space into a place for the trash bin, and would like to pull out the drawer for quick dumping of trash from above. I don't want to take out the interior hardware for the drawer just yet, but don't want to look at it through the empty drawer front, either.

Practical would be nice, but ANY ideas appreciated since a lot of times they can spark new ones.

Thank you!

Answers:
I had the same problem (sort of), so I bought hinges, a magnet clap and a handle and made the drawer into a door.

Take the drawer front off of the drawer itself. Leave the knob on if it has one. Reinstall the drawer front using two hinges purchased from your hardware store for a couple bucks. You can put the hinges at the top or the bottom of the drawer face, you'll simply pull it open to drop in your trash to the can below.
