go to overstock.com and get a memory foam topper, makes stone feel like mush. We did it, and it feels like a thousand dollar matress now.
Egg crate is great. Just get a higher density foam, so it has some support and will last longer.
Buy a foam mattress topper...not the cheapest one. You can also buy what they call a feather bed. The down ones are great but expensive.
