I need suggestions for decorating a wedding arch for prom. Do I use lots of greenery and flowers or decorate?

We used a huge arch at our prom made from chicken wire. We just covered it with balloons and had the 3 different colors spiral around it, and supported it by suspending it from the ceiling with fishing line. It sounds kind of redneckish but it turned out beautiful and it was fun to "disassemble" later. :-D
What is your promo theme?? Unless your theme is tropical or something, it would be tacky to use flowers. Maybe balloons? If I knew your theme I'd have better ideas.
Depends on what the theme for the prom is. Decorate that way.
White Christmas lights -- especially the ones with white wires. Wind the wires around and around the frame (make sure you put the plugs in spots so you don't have a big power cord hanging in your face)
Paint with the theme nad add some flowers. don't go over-board though
