How should I paint my new room at my house?
Question:I like bright colors, glitter, and just something really cool. I dont want it to be real exotic or overbearing. I also like stripes and polka dots! Any ideas? anything would help

Paint it a nice green or yellow, then decorate with those peel off paint or wallpaper dots and shapes that don't hurt the walls - and that you can move around any time you want.

Don't get carried away or you will be sick of it in a month. Paint one wall a wild color and use normal colors on the rest. Jazz it up with colorful accessories and bedding.
I would look through wallpaper books and if you see colors and designs that don't make you ill after 5 minutes, then that is the plan you should follow
Depending on the size of your room, you'll want to decide on what paint color or wallpaper you want to use. (bright colors will gobble a room up) I would never ever put polka dots on a bedroom wall or any wall. If your room is large, maybe you could paint one wall a different color from the other three. One wall, that gets window light, could be used as the wall for an accent color, then tone down the other three walls with a lighter color. You could use a pinstripe wallpaper on one wall & paint the other three walls, drawing out a color from the wallpaper. Have fun!!
i suggest you hire a faux room artist , maybe use a high school or college student aspiring in gettin an art degree.
