I need help deciding my room color!?
Question:I want to paint my room a different color. Right now my room is boring and white. I want it to be bold, but my room is pretty small so I want it to make sure i don't make it look any smaller. I also need a color that is easy to match. Like with a conforter, and shades, lights..ect.

Two things that you want to keep in mind when picking a color, what furniture will be in the room and what lighting is in the room.
If you have windows, you can go for a darker shade, but if you have only a little natural light, pick a shade that won't make the room feel closed in.
You can go to any place that has the paint chips and they will show color combinations that work. Then you can take those chips to Walmart and get the paint.
I went to Home Depot and bought the paint at Walmart.
What I'm doing is, since I have wood paneling and I don't feel like taking it down, I'm going to make stripes of bold colors like dark blue, light blue, electric green, orange and different stuff like that.
Black, yellow, and blue stripes is pretty bold
Brown matches everything and you can add almost any color to give your room a pick me up. Turquoise and brown and pink and brown are very popular right now. You will be able to find tons of accessories to match. I love my chocolate brown walls!
Try a light pastel shade and match it with either a complimentary color or the same shade in just a little darker tone.

you could go with all but one wall white and paint the remaining wall red. match it with black furniture, its pretty bold. or you could try stripes with black and white any colors would accent them
do the bottom half of your walls in a color that you like..leave the top either white or eggshell something that would compliment the bottom half .then do all your accessories in colors that pop ...you could do blues...if its a bedroom it would bring on a cool feeling..brown would make it seem warm...yellow would be sunny..i would think red would make it seem angry...i dont know that i would do a bedroom in red.. light pinks and purples would be calming
