Can you paint peel and stick tiles?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, but it's tricky. First of all the squares have to be stuck down really well. If not, forget it. Second of all, you need to sand high spots and prime with a high adhesion primer. Then you need a really good latex paint. Go to HGTV.com. They do it all the time.

I woudn't. It'll have to be both durable for floor traffic AND capable of adhering to vinyl (this is an unusual combination).
