Decorating our dinette?

Question:We have just refinished our kitchen with reddish-brown cherry cabinets and juparana bordeaux countertops, with oak wood floors and off-white walls.
Our 9' X 9' adjacent-corner dinette has a lovely oval oak dinette set, tan berber rug over the oak floor, 4 lamp bronze hanging light, a chair rail on the off-white wall and a piece of reddish art work on the upper half each of the two walls. We need ideas to finish it off and perhaps create a small cafe (mural, red stripe wallpaper, or ?). Any ideas appreciated.

Answers:
How about.toile patterned accessories in either red and natural or yellow and natural? Perhaps a vase or pitcher for the table and matching seat cushions. Or maybe toile wallpaper beneath the chair rail. A little toile goes a long way! Might be a nice alternative to the red stripes or checks you envison when thinking of a cafe.

How about bringing some plants either real or fake? A mural of an old vineyard would be nice.
