Go to Lowe's or Home Depot or some other hardware store. They will have some sort of bolt that will work for you. If you can find out what size you need. If you have at least one, that will help a great deal. If not, buy a few different sizes and take them home and try them. Keep the ones that work, and you may be able to bring back the others that were either too Small or too big. When you have the size you need, buy a few extras, you never know when you might need them. Especially if you decide to move later on and you need to take the head board apart again. Good Luck!!
