What curtains would you suggest: rectangular smaller windows reaching to the ceiling over regular windows?

I have the same window setup. I customed a curtain from ceiling to floor. Thinking that if I leave it open, I would always have sunlight when I don't want to. So I considered having options to open and close it the same time as the lower windows. Up to you..
