Curtain rods??
Question:I have a big problem here. I have two sliding doors that are tight together at a corner. creating a 90◦ angle. So two ends of the rods will be tight together.and no rod fits, given that they all have this decorative knots at the end. What can I do? I want to have a new decoration ready to surprise my husband on Saturday... thanks
Answers:
If you get the rods that are made of wood, you could miter the ends so that they meet in the corner...Then just put the decorative knobs on the ends that show.
Also, here's a link to JC Penney's curtain hardware section. They have a corner bracket, that is intentionally made to help your two rods meet nicely in the corner.
Im having issues with picturing this... however,
"they" make what is called a swinging rod, that attaches at one end, and then swivels outwards.
New, fresh and trend idea for a new look.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Take off the "decorative knots" (they are called finials) where the two rods meet. They should either pull off or unscrew. Keep the finials on on the ends that are on the outer ends that don't meet. Just make sure the two rods meet in the corner, so the curtains don't slide off. Should work fine.
