How do you hide gaps in decking?

Question:i've just installed decking in my garden and there is an unslightly gap between the cut edges of the deck and the wall. what is the best thing to cover this gap? the gap is perpendicular with the edges of the deck boards but not consistent as the wall isn't exactly straight. any advice would be much appreciated

My husband has just installed decking in my garden. We too had an unsightly gap between the decking and fence. I went to B & Q and bought a few bags of their rainbow pebbles, £9.99 per bag, and have just stacked them in all the gaps to form an attractive border. They really glisten and look absolutely fab. Or maybe try some coloured slate chippings. They all disguise the gaps really well. Hope this helps.

Depending on the width, you may rip a 15 degree bevel on say a 2x placeing the beveled edge away from the wall. Just rip the 2x to the desired width. Just make sure you use PT.
yes same thing in my garden, i got a few bags of pea-shingle and filled the gap in with those? added a few flower pots and it looks great?
