Faux wood blinds.?
Question:I am considering importing faux wood blinds. Is there anyone on here that has done this be4?
Would love to briefly speak to someone about this. I will be selling them retail and just don't want to get stuck with a container load of blinds.
Sorry for not making myself clearer on this. I will have a maket as the blinds I can import look nicer when installed my me. And my price would include installation. To answer the answers that ask why would someone buy them from me rather than a big box outlet. My would be custom and installed. I am already selling the person a closet system, mirrors for baths and a shower enclosure. So my foot is in the door. My biggest concerns was shipping cost and customs. Also shelf life. Thanks for any other replys.
Thanks for any replys.

Do you have the ability to cut down these blinds on-site before you install them? Chances are good that you will not be able to stock sizes that are a good clean fit for any window that you would encounter. These imported blinds are just made to certain sizes that are normally broken down into 4-5 inch increments on the width and 4-6 inches on the length. Most bulk suppliers sell blinds in widths of only 24", 30". 35", 42", 47", 59", and 71". Custom blinds are cut to within 1/8 on width and length. If a blind is off by just 1/2 inch they look like crap. If they are off by 1 inch on the width, they generally won't be mountable at all.
