What is the advantage,if any,of latex enamel paint over latex paint?
Question:can you also apply latex enamel over latex?i am assuming so.

you can apply any latex paint over any existing latex paint ,you have better maintenance with latex enamel ,over say, latex flat .its washable and better suited for traffic areas ,kids room etc. enamel is available in different sheens as well satin ,semi and high gloss .
latex enamel is more expensive but it great if your going to have a lot of traffic or kids around it cleans up easily. If you want to go the cheaper route a good latex satin finish is just as good.
enamel paint is alot thicker and wares better so if you need to wash it it will last longer
