What do you think?

Question:A friend has just started painting some clay pots that she bought from lowe's, she added some detail to them (painted) I thought it was a good idea if she sold them. I became one of her first customers. With the detail's she added she is charging me $15.00 for each clay pot she painted, plus postage. A total of $60 bucks. How much should she really profit from these 10" clay pots? Retail cost at lowe's in the state of Virginia is $3.90, but she told me she had paid $5.00 for each.
Is she trying to profit more or is it for creative art that she is charging me for?

Answers:
Paint them yourself..!
Better still, buy a good few and ask the local pre-schoolers to paint them for you as a "project". I bet they,d look ace, and your helping the kids out too.

You can go to any gardening center and find bookoos of painted pots. Sounds like your friend thinks her's are super special. If she's really in need of money, ok, helping a friend but if not, go to Lowe's and save!!!
