What is the best way to remove old glue from hardwood floors? (after removing linoleum)?

Question:

Answers:
Ya, we removed carpet and not only did they staple the cr@p out of it, but they glued it down as well. We had a professional come and sand the floors, or you can do it yourself and then they applied two coats of something to protect it, make it shine, and endure cats patching out on it without scratching it. have three active cats and one doesn't know how to retract his claws. He really doesn't know much of anything, but that's probably what makes him SO endearing.

Sand it down past the glue.
Rent a drum sander
Ask the dealer as to exactly how to do it
FOLLOW the directions exactly
too much and youll trash the wood
