How do you put a big poster on a wall of an apartment?

Question:

Answers:
An easy and low-impact way is to paste a wood strip across the top and across the bottom (on the back) then hang it like a wall-hanging or picture. (Use fishing line and a nail.) I say "low-impact" because you won't have to glue it to the wall.

if you are renting dont paste anything to wall, craft stores sell poster tape that wont damage walls
use the tacky clay stuff.. it wont destroy the wall and when you pull it off it might leave a little residue but just use the big clump to remove it off the wall by rubbing it over whats stuck to the wall!!
you can use tacks the little holes they leave are not a big deal. When they re-rent your apartment they can paint over them. That's why you had to pay a redecorating fee when you signed your lease.
If you can find a frame to fit, it's easy to hang that up, or otherwise you can just find either some extra sticky double side tape (the foamy kind) or use some sticky tack. That should hold it up pretty well without hurting the wall. Hope this helps!
You can buy double stick velcro tape. When you move, it's easy to patch.
3M makes adhesive that is great for hanging posters. It comes off the wall with no damage at all.
if its dry wall use what ever you want just buy some light weight Spackle and fill the holes when you take it down
