Help in figuring the cost?
Question:i am getting ready to build a storage building an need some of you carpenters to help me out .I want it to be 12by16 an only very small windows so as to keep thiefs out
Answers:
There are a wide range of variables involved in any building.
Average materials costs $700-1000.
There are some considerably less and more.
If someone is installing it for you, you can expect to spend around $500-700 for that.
If you pour a concrete slab, add that to the price.
$800
I would estimate at 800-1000 dollars total..
if you want a shingled roof on it, add another 150-200 dollars for the shingles, and another 20-50 for the nails, a concrete slab (if you set up the foundation grid) the concrete will only cost about 100-200 dollars..
then rub all your elbow grease into it
draw a sketch and take it to the project desk at Lowe's. they will fig. your materials as well as price . get that copied and then shop for value.
