Has anyone used faux ultrasuede to reupholster a couch?

Question:I am going to get my family room couch reupholstered. It gets the most use of any piece of furniture in my house and I need something durable. I am considering a Schumacher fabric that is faux ultrasuede and is recommended for use of sofas. Has anyone used this type of fabric? Would it stand up to lots of use? Appreciate your comments.

Answers:
Yes, ultrasuede is great for sofa's that get a lot of activity. Most furniture companies sell their sofa's, chair's and sectionals with the option of an utlrasuede fabric.

You will be able to wipe away spills before it soaks into the fabric, you will be able to easily vacum the fabric without the fabric pulling and you will be able to get it professionally cleaned without the fabric pilling.

This is a great idea. Just make sure that you read the manufacturer's cleaning instructions before cleaning.
