House plans?

Question:what software do you use to design a house, so that you know exactly how you want it to look?

That would depend on what you wish to look at. Broderbund makes several pieces of software that work well. I have older models of their products. I am a structure person, but the texture graphics are pretty weak to me. Maybe the newer stuff is better. Download.com may have some freebie stuff so you can get a feel for it, or shareware (try then buy). Tucows had a worm the last time I went. I would avoid the site like the plague.
