Use paint remover, try local paint stores, Home Depot, Lowes. Remember to get good gloves and mask.
If possible take beds outside, the fumes are sickening. Wash thoroughly, then use rust retardent paint. depending on the design, spray paint or can. It's fun and they will come out beautiful. I have a flea market find from the 30's for $5.00! We painted it white, Guests love it.
